“I think that the restorative justice program is very positive and promotes self-growth and growth of the community. I was able to avoid charges to my record and very expensive fees through RJCAs program. In return, I was able to take a look at how my bad actions affected my community and was given the chance to give back. This program allows a ‘restoration’ for a wrong doing. Instead of someone ruining their record and not truly making up for their actions, you are able to connect with your community, accept your actions, change your behavior, and make things right.”
